Usually, the polyurethane elastomer rubber roller is produced by the casting method, and the cast plastic injection mold which meets the technical requirements is formed into a cast polyurethane elastomer (CPU) rubber roller after a certain period of aging, demoulding and post-treatment. Due to the wide variety of rubber rollers, different sizes of rubber rollers are required to have different sizes of molds (sometimes to increase the output, but also several sets of the same size of the mold), which makes the mold numerous and complicated, not only increases production costs, but also production management. It brings difficulties, especially for large-size rubber rollers, with large investment in molds and low utilization rate. At the same time, because the production process is long and the quality at the time of production cannot be directly observed, if defects such as pores occur, it is difficult to repair, resulting in defective products and waste products. Can it adopt a process and equipment that can produce various specifications and sizes of rubber rollers without the need of molds, and can directly observe the pouring and gelling process to supervise and ensure the quality of the rubber rollers, and in case of quality failures, timely remedy. The rotary casting process and equipment of the polyurethane rubber roller can fully meet the above requirements.

Compared with the traditional casting process, the rotary casting process has the following advantages: no need for mold, no need to store and maintain the cost of the mold; save energy (the traditional casting process mold must be preheated to 90 feet before it can be booed), the casting process can find defects in time Make up; save the original _ (can set the thickness smaller), and save the grinding process; fast reaction speed, short processing time, small footprint, high production efficiency.


1. Production process

The pre-treated metal roll core is mounted on the rotary casting bed of the rubber roller. In addition to the rotation of the rubber roller at a certain rotation speed, the pouring head of the casting machine can be fed a certain distance along the axial direction at a certain speed, so that the fast-curing castable material is fastened. One side of the rotating roll core ('or rubber roll) is advanced in the axial direction to ensure that a uniform layer of polyurethane elastomer is cast on the rubber roll. The rubber compound preparation and casting process is as follows:

To ensure that the rotary casting is carried out normally and to produce a polyurethane roll with excellent performance, qualified raw materials and excellent equipment are required.

2. Qualified raw materials and mature technology Traditional polyurethane elastomer rubber rolls are often produced by prepolymer method, which is to synthesize prepolymer from polyester polyol and TDI, and then cast adhesive with MOCA and other crosslinkers, and cast into the mold. After being matured at a high temperature, it becomes a finished product. The disadvantage is that the reaction speed is slow and the working temperature is high. The rubber roller is produced by the rotary casting method without the need of the mold, and the casting glue is required to have a fast reaction speed and a low working temperature. Therefore, the semi-prepolymer method is often used, that is, a part of the oligomer polyol is first added in the synthesis of the prepolymer, and the formation is started. The semi-prepolymer with lower viscosity, in the second step of the chain extension reaction, a part of the oligomer polyol, the alcohol chain extender and the catalyst are reacted with the semi-prepolymer, and the advantage is that the comprehensive performance is very good, especially The physical and mechanical properties, flexural life, wear resistance and dynamic performance are superior to the TDI series. The disadvantage is that the MDI prepolymer has high viscosity and the mixing ratio is large. The raw materials can be quickly cured three-component rotary castables supplied by Shanghai Kaizhong Polyurethane Co., Ltd.
